Did you know that Colombia has received over 8 billion dollars from the United States in its ongoing civil war? USAID has delivered thousands of weapons to Colombia, which have been used to terrorize its people.  
My goal is to educate young Americans on how their tax money is being spent.  
I set up this installation in a college to spark conversation on the topic of American aid.  
Emulating a Russian Doll, when you lift up a box, a smaller box appears with more information about the war and its funding by the U.S. government .  
The last box contains an envelope which is pre-addressed to Congress to encourage college students to take action.
